Q: Are any of your furs REAL?
A: No, all of our faux fur fabrics are 100% synthetic, made from acrylic or modacrylic fibers woven into a fabric backing. Our furs are very quality, soft, and realistic, but certainly are not the real thing.
Q: Can I pay with a method besides PayPal?
A: Yes! You can pay with many other methods through our site. Here's how:
- Credit/debit cards: Select PayPal as your payment method, and proceed through checkout as normal. After clicking "confirm order", you will be taken to PayPal's checkout screen. There should be an option to pay without a PayPal account towards the bottom of the screen. Choose this option, and you should be able to check out as a guest and use a credit/debit card instead of a PayPal account.
- Cash, check, or money order: Please contact me via email to arrange to use this payment method. You will need to mail your check/cash/money order through the mail to the address we will provide you with. Please use a method with tracking to ensure that your payment arrives to us. We assume no responsibility for cash or checks lost in the mail.
Q: How long do you take to ship orders?
A: In general, we ship within 1-3 business days. This is for in stock, ready-to-ship products only (faux fur, etc). Preorder items, custom made items, and out of stock items will take longer to ship. Please check individual item descriptions for shipping time estimates.
Q: Do you have a physical store where I can come pick up my order?
A: If you live in the Raleigh, NC area, you are welcome to come pick up your order in person at our warehouse. If you are interested in doing this, please contact me in advance to arrange a time to come pick up your order. Please note that as we are not a dedicated retail space, we usually need at least 5 days of notice to arrange a pickup, and are only typically available for pickup times Monday-Friday, 12pm to 5pm. If you need to pick up at a different time, we can't guarantee we will be able to accommodate your request, but contact us to be sure.
Q: Where can I buy a fursuit?
A: We typically do not sell fursuits through FursuitSupplies.com, as we're more of a supplies business. We do offer a few made-to-order and premade parts, which can be found in the "fursuit parts" category. If you would like to inquire about a custom fursuit, please email us.
Q: I never received tracking information for my shipment!
A: We send e-mails automatically with tracking info as soon as a package is shipped. Check your spam folder, or add firstname.lastname@example.org to your list of accepted contacts to make sure you will receive your tracking info. If you still do not see it within 3 business days of your order being placed (unless it is a product that has been specified on the product listing to take additional time), please e-mail us.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship our products all over the world! International shipping can be pricey and take longer than domestic shipping, but we are certainly happy to ship to international customers.
Q: An item I am interested in is listed as "PREORDER". What does this mean?
A: Generally, when we list an item as "PREORDER", this means it is not currently in stock, but we have immediate plans or an order pending to restock this particular item. Check the item description for an estimate of when this item will be ready to ship. In most cases, especially with larger items like faux furs, we will hold your entire order until everything is ready to ship. In some cases, as with balaclavas and other items that can be shipped via first class mail, we will go ahead and ship your order and send the preordered item later at no extra cost to you. International orders containing preorder items will be held until everything is ready to ship regardless of item size.
Q: I want to buy something that is currently out of stock. When will it be back in stock?
A: This varies depending on the item in question. Furs generally will be back in stock in 1-4 weeks. Sometimes we can provide more detailed restock information if you contact us via email.
