In this uncertain time, we wanted to provide some updates regarding our current operations during the global pandemic situation. Here is what you can expect at this time:
We are still open and operating on a normal schedule. Most orders are still being dispatched from our warehouse on the same or next business day (Monday-Friday). Our small team of 3 is working hard to ensure you still receive your products in a timely manner while staying safe and practicing social distancing.
Many of the conventions we typically vend at have been understandably cancelled or postponed through at least June due to the pandemic situation, so our full focus is currently on our online business. We have been working to add all of our convention inventory to the website (still in progress) and have extended our free domestic shipping on non-fur orders of $50+ sale indefinitely.
As stated above, we are still dispatching orders on the same or next business day.
As for our carriers, here is what we have been told:
- The USPS has informed us that service commitments for domestic Priority Mail and First Class Mail have both been extended from 2-3 days in transit to 3-4 days in transit. This means your package may take an additional business day to arrive versus what you are normally used to.
- International shipments in many cases may take significantly longer to arrive than usual due to the severe reduction in commercial passenger flights out of the country (which USPS usually relies on to move parcels). We have recently added DHL shipping to our website- DHL is not experiencing these kinds of delays and will likely get your package to you much faster than USPS.
- FedEx has not informed us of any specific disruptions, but due to high volume it is possible these parcels could be delayed by a day or two as well.
Most of our suppliers have remained open as well, but many are operating with reduced staff or on a delayed shipping schedule. We are working closely with them to get resupplied with fabrics and other goods as quickly as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work with them to bring our full line of products back in stock.
We sincerely hope you and your loved ones are doing well and staying safe during this trying time. Stay safe and stay creative, and thank you for your patience during this unprecedented situation.
