A balaclava is one of the best options for a fursuit head base, or just to wear under one to keep you comfortable. A balaclava is a great idea even if your fursuit is already built on one! They are cool to wear, and can help to increase the longevity of your head. If you're using a balaclava to build a suit, you can build upholstery foam (can be found at most local fabric stores, such Joann Fabrics; sometimes Walmart even sells it) ontop of the balaclava to sculpt your fursuit's head.

We have sold hundreds if not thousands of these balaclavas online and at conventions over the years with very few complaints. Appropriately named "Coolskin", they are very lightweight, will keep you cool, and are designed to wick moisture away from your face. Now available in fun neon colors!
